Frequently Asked Questions

How do I download my digital PDF pattern?

After you place an order, you will land on a page with a custom download link. You can download your pattern then, or use the link included in the order confirmation sent via email. If you don’t receive a download link via email, please check your junk mail as it may have been rerouted. Adding us to your safe sender list can help avoid our emails being routed to your spam folder.

How do I print my PDF pattern at home?

All of our patterns are formatted to be printed at home or at a copy shop. Our print-at-home files will print on both Letter and A4 paper. If you are printing at home, please make sure to use the Letter/A4 paper files. This format can be used on any home printer, whether you're using imperial or metric paper. We suggest you use Adobe Reader (its free!) or Apple Preview to print your files. It is very important to select “No scaling or “Print at 100%” when you are printing. Make sure you print and measure the test square on the first page to make sure you are printing at the correct scale. Directions for printing digital files are included in all of our PDF instructions. It is very important that you print your pattern to the proper scale. Always print the first sheet with the scaling box first to ensure your printer settings are correct.

Am I able to turn off and print only the size I need using the layers feature?

All PDF patterns include layers, which means each size can be turned on or off (the "Text" layer must be turned on for all sizes). Please note layers are currently only supported by Adobe Acrobat & Reader, not Apple Preview. You will need to open your pattern file using Adobe if you would like to use this feature.

Can I sell items made from your patterns?

As clearly stated on all patterns, our designs are available exclusively for home, non-commercial use. Our patterns may not be used for commercial sale.
