We haven’t officially made any summer plans, have you? There are so many places in Texas I want to visit. Did you know, Texas is huge? Well, it’s big…really big. And there is all kinds of stuff to do here. I really want to head down to the coast and check out the Gulf of Mexico. Maybe Corpus Christi or Padre Island. I also really want to visit Austin, San Antonio, Hill Country, Palo Duro, and Big Bend. I think I might need to come up with a 5 year plan! In the meantime, I’ll focus on visiting one of these places after my folks visit in July. What are your summer plans?
My summer plans involve work and… work! Although I hope we’ll go on little escapades now and then to breathe a little. 🙂

The Gulf of Mexico would be lovely!! I hope you get to check at least one of those destinations off of your list!! So far I am taking a trip to Nashville in June and then going to a family reunion in WV in August. I also have a couple of day trips to the beach in the works 🙂

Oh, I would love to explore Texas. My friend moved down to be a nurse and has never looked back. I’m off work in five weeks and I still haven’t nailed down any concrete plans, but I hope to start knocking things off my 30 before 30 list.

It’s crazy to think that summer is just around the corner. The Gulf of Mexico would definitely be a fun trip. Not sure what our summer plans are yet. Fingers crossed a beach will be involved though 🙂
