Sewing for our loved ones is a special way to show we care. These Valentine's Day Sewing Projects are fun and useful items your loved ones will treasure.

Projects That Teach
I have always believed the easiest way to learn anything is hands-on. All of my sewing classes utilize projects to teach techniques. This set of Valentine's Day Sewing projects is no different. You'll learn to measure, prepare fabric for sewing, sew in a straight line, insert a zipper, create a casing, and topstitch with ease!
Less Than Two Hours
For most new to sewing, each of these projects takes less than two hours to complete. The zippered pouch takes the longest if you've never inserted a zipper, but I guarantee you won't fear zippers after completing this project!
Pillowcase
A homemade pillowcase makes dosing off to sleep even more special! This pillowcase is made of two fabrics and has French seams to hide all the stitching. The band can be made from a coordinating or contrasting fabric.
Eye Mask
This cute eye mask makes drifting off to sleep even more relaxing. This project is perfect for using up leftover fabric.
Zippered Pouch
If you've always wanted to learn how to insert a zipper, this project is the perfect way to learn.
Drawstring Bag
Now that you have a pillowcase, eye mask, and zippered pouch, you need a drawstring bag to put everything in!
